Since the ride is only 20 miles this day, most customers choose to take a side trip of kayaking 11 miles down the Youghiogheny River or visiting the world famous Frank Lloyd Wright house, “Fallingwater”.
The riding this day is also fantastic as you pass through dense forest and go through the first of many tunnels on the trail.
Duration: 2 hours
Meals included:
• Breakfast: Just like everyday we begin with gourmet coffee service and a hearty breakfast with all fresh ingredients.
• Dinner: This night most customers opt for our “famous” spaghetti dinner, homemade on the trail with all fresh ingredients.

Day 4: Ride 43 miles back to Cumberland MD with the last 23 miles DOWNHILL!!!
Stop At: Great Allegheny Passage, 13 Canal St, Cumberland, MD 21502-3052
Day-4 is possibly the best day of all as you will experience most of the dramatic railroad features of the trail. This includes 3 tunnels (one of which is over 1/2 mile long), and 2 long bridges. You will also pass through the charming town of Meyersdale Pennsylvania that has an amazing restored railroad station and museum.
But everyone’s favorite part of Day-4 is cruising the last 23 miles of the trail downhill into Cumberland. This is a wonderful way to end your journey as you reach Cumberland and can celebrate with a meal and beverages at many great venues.
