Itinerary
After meeting at our landing zone and receiving an orientation from one of our certified tandem instructors, we ride in our van for 20 minutes through the Kula Watershed Preserve up to our ‘Ferns’ launch located at 6500′ elevation. Your instructor will discuss in detail the process of launching the paraglider and what they will need you to do. There are many videos on our website that demonstrate the launch. Basically, if you can run together with your instructor for 5-6 seconds you can go paragliding. During the flight your instructor will take lots of photos that will be given to you after landing. You are also welcome to bring your own phone or small camera. After flying high above the forest with spectacular panoramic views we will land in our smooth grassy landing zone right near where we first met. During the flight your instructor may ask you if you enjoy roller coaster type excitement. If so, your instructor will be happy to demonstrate a spiral dive or other high energy maneuver. If you would rather just fly smoothly around and enjoy the views then that will be the plan. Your instructor will give you whatever type of flight you like. Let’s Go FLYING!
