Located on the island of Kaua’i, in this unique hands-on experience, guests will get to first learn the history and art of Fireknife Dancing, learn the basic moves and see a full demonstration.
Itinerary
First we will begin with a brief history of traditional Samoan Fireknife Dancing and then will get to learn the basic techniques and see live demonstrations by trained Fireknife dancers. If you feel you are confident enough at the end of the experience, you will have the opportunity to showcase your newly acquired skills with a real Fireknife and make a great video to take home for family and friends!
**Please be aware that this is a casual, interactive event, NOT A TRADITIONAL LUAU, so please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared for physical activity.
