Stop At: Totem Bight State Historical Park, 9883 N Tongass Hwy, Ketchikan, AK 99901-9246
This is one of the Best Totem Parks in Alaska. It’s situated on the shores of Tongass Narrows with easy walking trails that. The old Long House and carving house are full of native history.

Stop At: Herring Cove, 8033-7979 S Tongass Hwy, Ketchikan, AK 99901-9757
Once we depart downtown we will drive out one of the two Totem Parks in Ketchikan. After 20 minutes walking among the Totems we will head to Herring Cove to do some Black Bear Viewing. This tour will be 1 hour or a 1.5 hour duration depending on you.

Saxman Native Village has the largest standing Totems in the world. The area is filled with totems that are over 100 years old. The easy walking trails make this a wonderful stop to soak in Native Heritage and highlights the skills it took to carve out these beautiful works of Native art.
