Itinerary
Day 1: Cape Town – Garden Route Game Lodge
Stop At: Stony Point Penguin Colony, Betty’s Bay South Africa
Located in the quaint coastal town of Betty’s Bay in the Overberg, the Stony Point Nature Reserve is home to a colony of African Penguins. Stony Point offers the public the chance to see these wonderful flightless birds up close, via the boardwalk through the colony, which allows the public to observe the penguins go about their daily activities in their natural habitat, without disturbing or disrupting them.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Hermanus, Hermanus, Overstrand, Overberg District, Western Cape
Hermanus is a town on the southern coast of the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is famous for Southern Right whale watching during the southern winter to spring seasons, and is a popular retirement location, too. Although the Southern Right whale is the most prolific species in the bay, it is not the only one that visits these shores. The whales can be seen from the cliffs all along the coast from as early as June and usually depart in early-December.

Stop At: Garden Route, Garden Route
Enjoy a sunset game drive in an open Landrover with your experienced game ranger who will bring you sightings of lion, elephant, white rhino, buffalo and cheetah and more.
Garden Route Game Lodge is also home to giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope species such as bontebok, red hartebeest, kudu, eland, impala, springbuck and many more.
Game drives will take between 2 and 3 hours depending on how much time is spent at each sighting. There will be a sundowner stop on the drive.
It is advisable to bring warm clothes along for the drive even in the hot summer months. Your game ranger will provide ponchos and warm blankets and has a bird book and binoculars. Remember to bring your camera and video camera with you.

Day 2: Garden Route Game Lodge – Indalu
Stop At: Garden Route, Garden Route
Enjoy a sunrise game drive in an open Land-rover with your experienced game ranger who will bring you sightings of lion, elephant, white rhino, buffalo and cheetah and more.
Garden Route Game Lodge is also home to giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope species such as bontebok, red hartebeest, kudu, eland, impala, springbuck and many more.
Game drives will take between 2 and 3 hours depending on how much time is spent at each sighting. There will be a coffee stop on the morning drive.
It is advisable to bring warm clothes along for the drive even in the hot summer months. Your game ranger will provide ponchos and warm blankets and has a bird book and binoculars. Remember to bring your camera and video camera with you.

A quick drive to a nearby Game lodge to have an Elephant experience. Up close & personal photos can be taken. Comfortable working shoes is recommended. Weather permitting.

Cape Agulhas – The southern most part of africa – is a rocky headland in Western Cape, South Africa. The dividing line between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans according to the International Hydrographic Organization.
