Stop At: Elétricos de Sintra (estação de início/fim), 2710-573 Sintra, Portugal
To start we´ll dive into live history of Portugal by taking the romantic Atlantic Tram from 1904, following the Queens and Kings of the end of the monarchy.
This is a unique experience, in a car with wooden decoration. You´ll be involved in the charming noise of the weels touching the rails. 45 minutes of pure adventure down to Praia das Maçãs where our hike will start.

Stop At: Praia das Macas, Praia das Macas, Lisbon District, Central Portugal
This is the place where we’ll meet up with the wild Atlantic ocean. Lunch will be bought in the small and very Portuguese “Mini-Market” Camarão. They have the best products with the unique flavours of Portugal. The name A Praia das Maçãs stands for “The Apple Beach”. We will have a café, required by Portuguese habits…. and then cross this beautiful, large and sandy beach. At its end we’ll jump over the “Apple River” and then start the trail along the ancient cliffs of this outstanding peace of land. Great place for some nice photographs too.

Stop At: Casa da Adraga Rua da Praia da Adraga, Almocageme 2705-060 Portugal
After one hour of hiking along the cliffs, where you met the original footprints of dinosaurs (Don’t worry, they will be asleep ;-), we’ll reach Praia da Adraga. A beautiful beach with grottoes and rocks on its sides, and others standing out of the water.
Here we are going to have our typical, portuguese pic-nic. We’ll have lunch acompanied by acrobatic seagulls and the vivid waves. Well strengthened we’ll continue into the unparalleled beauty of the rocky landscape of the westernmost fishermen trails in Europe.

Stop At: Estrada Cabo da Roca, Colares 2705-001 Portugal
Deserving a reward, we’ll reach our destiny, the end of Europe, the most western point of the European continent,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Cabo da Roca, the place where the land ends and the sea begins. Like Luiz Vaz de Camões said back in 1560.
From here we´ll ride back to Sintra Station in a comfortable Taxi.
