We will ascend to the top of the mountain by roads that take us to places with fantastic views over the coast. If we are lucky we will see the ocean and identify the Berlengas Islands. The “Arco da Memória marks the limit of the Coutos de Alcobaça and the beginning of the lands of the King. It is the memory of the History of Portugal here celebrated in a building of “Arco triumphal style.
