Itinerary
Day 1: Auckland to Mt Ruapehu and Tongariro National Park
Stop At: Auckland, Auckland, North Island
Your tour starts in New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland. On the way to the mountain your guide will point out all the highlights of the areas you are passing through and also stop for rest and dinner breaks. You will be transported to the mountain in small group, comfortable minibuses with all the comforts you can ask for. These include a entertainment screen, WiFi access, charging points next to each seat row, storage space for ski equipment and refreshments in the vehicle.

Stop At: Ohakune, Ohakune, Manawatu-Wanganui Region, North Island
Arriving mid evening you will be dropped at your hotel for the night to settle in or maybe head out and enjoy the alpine atmosphere that Ohakune is famous for. Accommodation not included in tour price.

Day 2: Whakapapa or Tongoriro Crossing
Pass By: Ohakune, Ohakune, Manawatu-Wanganui Region, North Island
In the morning you will be picked up from your accommodation around 7.00am for a guided tour through the National Park to either Whakapapa Ski Field or the Tongariro Crossing start point.
Stop At: Whakapapa, Manawatu-Wanganui 3989, New Zealand
Option 1: At Whakapapa you can ski, snowboard, get some lessons, toboggan, ride the Sky Gondola or just enjoy the mountain from one of the cafes.
Duration: 6 hours
Stop At: Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Manawatū-Whanganui, New Zealand
Option 2: Often described as New Zealand’s greatest day walk, this 8 hour Tongariro Alpine Crossing is a challenging journey across a remarkable volcanic landscape.
Duration: 8 hours
Stop At: Ohakune, Ohakune, Manawatu-Wanganui Region, North Island
After a day of fun you will be transported back to Ohakune for the night and to enjoy the town. Accommodation not included in tour price.

Day 3: Turoa Skifield to Auckland
Stop At: Ohakune, Ohakune, Manawatu-Wanganui Region, North Island
This morning you will be picked up from your accommodation from 8:30am and guided up Turoa Ski Field for another full day of snow fun.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Turoa, Ohakune Mountain Road, Mt Ruapehu 4691, New Zealand
At Turoa you have another full day to enjoy snowboarding, skiing or just playing in the snow. Leaving the mountain late afternoon, we make our way back to Auckland once again stopping for rest and food breaks.

Unfortunately the adventure has come to an end and our guide will drop you back at one of the departure points in Auckland and say their farewells.
