For this morning adventure,1st stop – Te Mata Peak. The summit provides stunning 360-degree views across Hawke’s Bay and in the morning, with the sun behind us, we can usually see all the way west to Mt Ruapehu, the North Island’s highest mountain. Bring a camera because the views are incredible!
From the Peak, we head to 2 premium wineries where you’ll taste some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest wines. Between wineries, we’ll take you across the fertile Heretaunga Plain, the district known around the country as ‘The Fruit Bowl of New Zealand’. Picturesque orchard, vineyard and rolling farm country will be our backdrop before we arrive for lunch at one of the region’s finest winery restaurants.

Te Mata Peak is the highlight for most when visiting Hawke’s Bay (Napier). On the Morning Scenic Wine Tour we will drive to the top of the peak in our Luxury vehicle. Once at the peak, you will be able to get out and enjoy the views. Bring a camera because this is one of the best views you will see in the North Island of NZ!
