It is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico and in 2008 it was recognized by UNESCO, next to the Sanctuary of Jesus of Atotonilco, as a World Heritage Site. Its attractive and cosmopolitan appearance makes it one of the favorite destinations for art lovers. Among all that there is to visit, its historical and architectural heritage stands out.
One of the places you should see is the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel that has become the hallmark of the city. It is a beautiful temple of the end of the century. Other places to see in San Miguel de Allende are the city’s Handicraft Market.
