The drive back is on the Pacific Ocean side with a stop in Todos Santos, an enchanting town where many artists live to create their art. You will visit the old plaza and the most important historic buildings a complete Baja Adventure.

Stop At: Tropic of Cancer, Carretera San Jose del Cabo-La Paz, 23400 Mexico

First stop is at “Tropico de Cancer” also referred to as the Northern Tropic to look at the flora and fauna of the Baja and stop at a local market to see some of the local art craft and some typical local sweets.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, BCS, Mexico

Next stop is at the look-point for the small town of Los Barriles known worldwide for its fishing grounds for big game fishers. This town offers the perfect combination of infrastructure and remoteness.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: San Bartolo, BCS, Mexico

San Bartolo is a local favorite for its regional food and locally made candies. In this area there is a stream that almost all the time has water and is the main reason why there are some many fruit trees and because of this on this area has rooted a tradition that are the preserved fruits and production of homemade sweets.

Stop At: El Triunfo, BCS, Mexico

This old mining town, once full of life, is now known as a ghost town. Here, you will find the vestiges of what was once a thriving community. You will walk through the old streets and buildings, being witness of what once was a huge mining operation. The main fireplace, designed by Gustave Eiffel (Eiffel Tower) is still in place, baptized “La Ramona” in honor of the saint on the day of its inauguration, still stands dominant up to a height of 47 meters.

La Paz deserves its name it stands with grace on a wide bay of the Sea of Cortes is still a tranquil and very Mexican port. It has preserved a sort of nostalgic “Old Baja atmosphere”

Stop At: La Paz Cathedral, Revolucion de 1910 S/N, Zona Central, La Paz 23000 Mexico

The Cathedral is one of the iconic and oldest buildings in the City of La Paz, the history of the building goes back to XIX century. It preserves paintings and baroque altarpieces from the 18th century that were obtained from the various missions by the Jesuit missionaries.

Stop At: Malecon, La Paz Mexico

The waterfront boardwalk of La Paz “El Malecon” starts its construction in 1911, the last renovation finished this 2021. This is another iconic location of the City of La Paz, with its various sculptures that brings life to the Malecon, some of the most emblematic ones are a statue of “Jacques Cousteau”, “El Viejo y el Mar” there are a total of 16 sculptures along the Malecon.

Stop At: Museo de Antropologia e Historia de Baja California Sur, Ignacio Altamirano and Cinco de Mayo, La Paz Mexico

The Museum of Anthropology and History of Baja California Sur was inaugurated in 1981. It has a valuable collection of fossils that allows to understand the natural diversity of the Californian Peninsula. The exhibit includes inscribed stones, photographs of the cave paintings, details of pearl diving, weapons and objects from the time the Sub-Californians defended the land from foreign invasions.
