Here you can admire the remains of the “domus dei mosaici” which takes its name from the rich pavement.
Beyond the domus, the remains of the temple dedicated to the goddess Luna stand out, one of the oldest buildings of worship in the city, before reaching the splendid amphitheater of the imperial era.

The next stop on the tour are the 4 Torrioni di Sarzana: imposing medieval military structures defending the ancient city.
It is interesting to note how these bastions are now an integral part of the urban fabric, and from their study we understand the urban development of the city and the function they have had over the centuries in the affirmation of Sarzana as an important economic and political center of the territory.
