We will immerse ourselves in the world of goldsmithing and typical Florentine handicrafts.
I will help you to discover this old craft and all its charm from the first to the last step. We start at the very beginning by melting the silver, then pulling a silver wire or rolling a plate, hammering, cutting with a bow saw, filing, grinding, soldering and cleaning until everyone has finished their own piece of jewelry. In just a few hours you can create your own piece of jewelry that will give you or whoever is allowed to wear it a lot of joy. The workshop takes place in my workshop in the countryside in Montespertoli (Fi).
In between there is a snack
You can also bring material with you that has an emotional value but is no longer worn in order to melt it down and renew it.
You don’t need any previous knowledge.

Itinerary
During the 4 hours (9.30am-1.30pm or 2.30pm-6.30pm) everyone makes their own piece of jewelry from silver and takes it home as a souvenir of the wonderful activity. We will find ideas together. You don’t need to have any previous knowledge.
I also show you how to melt and solder silver. You roll plates yourself or pull wire, depending on what you want to create. Then it is sawed, filed, hammered, sanded and polished until the piece of jewelery is finished.
In between there is a delicious snack with products from the area.
On request we can also set up a full day course with a typical lunch (maybe pizza in our own wood oven, depending on the weather).
All you need to bring with you is the desire to create something with your own hands: anyone can do it! Families with children also enjoy handicrafts a lot and are always enthusiastic about their results (see gallery).
The workshop is cleaned for viruses, bacteria and mold using ozone technology. Disinfectant gel and masks are available.
