The artist conducting this workshop, Mr. Mohan Lal Gujar is a traditional, extraordinary master craftsman in Leather Jutti (Mojari) craft, who was awarded Rajasthan State Award-2008 and National Merit Certificate in 2011 for his outstanding craftsmanship. For 300 hundred years their ancestors were making leather Mojari to fulfil the demand of the Royal family as well as the common folks. So this experience offers learning the arts right from the roots and thus helps connect better to the story and reasons behind the emergence of arts.
