Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi – Agra (210kms/ 4hrs approx)

Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Pick up from your hotel in Delhi and drive to Agra check in at hotel.

Stop At: Taj Mahal, Dharmapuri, Forest Colony, Tajganj, Agra 282001 India
Later city tour of Agra. Visit Taj Mahal an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the bank of the Yamuna river commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife Mumtaz Mahal, it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.

Stop At: Agra Fort Rakabgani, Agra 282003 India
Agra Fort the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Yamuna River, Agra 282001 India
Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb a Mughal mausoleum commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg.
Duration: 30 minutes

Breakfast at hotel drive to Delhi via visiting Mathura and Vrindavan.

Mathura is a sacred city, deity Lord Krishna is said to have been born on the site of Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, a Hindu temple. Dotting the Yamuna River are 25 ghats (flights of steps down to the water), of which Vishram Ghat is considered the holiest. Sati Burj is a 16th-century memorial tower. Dwarkadhish Temple has a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna is said to have spent his childhood in Vrindavan. It’s home to temples, many dedicated to Krishna and his lover, the deity Radha. At Banke Bihari Temple, the curtain in front of Krishna’s statue is opened and closed every few minutes. At Radha Raman Temple, a gold plate beside Krishna signifies Radha. Prem Mandir is a huge white marble temple.
