All those delicious Spiti dishes, and no way to take them all back to your home country… or so you thought! Well, we have good news for you: after our cooking class with you can be sure to stun your friends back home with your self-made Momo’s or your very own Spiti Thali!

The cooking class starts with a visit to the local market where you will choose the best, seasonal produce.

Back to the kitchen you will get your hands into the dough, rolling Momos or Spiti delicacies. The whole activity will familiarise you with the essential spices & recipes for cooking a Spiti meal.

Choose between learning how to cook any 1 of the below.

1. Momos – An all time favourite Spiti dish. Stuffed dumplings which can be had steamed or fried served with local chutney. We will teach you how to make Momos stuffed with mix vegetables. Back home you can stuff these sumptuous momos with almost anything – minced meat, cheese, vegetables, potato & herbs, to name a few.
2. Spiti Thali – Similar to an Indian Thali, the Spiti Thali will teach you how to make the all time favourite Indian dish – Dal and mixed vegetable sabzi. Combine that with learning how to make the famous Spiti Bread “Tingmo” – steamed bread”.
3. Keu – Nothing gets more unique to Spiti than the Keu. A local wholewheat pasta similar to Italian gnocchi prepared with a thick gravy and vegetables. Back home add meat or potatoes and enjoy!

When finished preparing our delicious meal we will enjoy it together.
