Stop At: Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Delhi 110006, India

Jama Masjid is also known as Masjid e Jahan Numa which is situated in Old Delhi and it’s the largest mosque in India. The Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan has built this wonderful mosque between the year of 1650 and 1656 which cost at one million rupees. It was inaugurated by Imam Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari from Bukhara, presently it’s in Uzbekistan. It is the ancient and largest surviving mosque which is still in use and it’s very close to the Ashokan Pillar.

Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib is constructed in chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi. This is the place where the ninth Guru Guru Tegh Bahadur, was decapitated on Wednesday, November 24, 1675 on the orders of Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb as the Guru refused to convert himself into Muslim religion.

Chandni chowk the Moonlight Square is the oldest and busiest shopping area in old Delhi. This place is the hub for different types of street foods, sweets, clothing, consumer goods, electronic goods, etc. It is the place where you can get anything under the sun. This market is further divided into various markets which is the wholesale hub for respective items and products.

Naughara (9 homes)
Naughara which means 9 homes is a very small alley which is off the kinari bazaar. Though at the time of Shah Jahan there were numerous such beautiful gates which were uniquely crafted with the Jewells and it’s the best replica of the Mughal architecture. Though the doors are painted in rainbow colors presently but still the base is same of the sandstone.

Asia’s largest spice market which is the home of so many spices which will keep you gazing at them for long. Spices, rice, tea and all types of groceries will be available here at wholesale rates.

Fatehpuri Phool Mandi ( Flower Market), this is a wonderful flower market which is around 80 years old and it’s situated on the roads surrounding the Fatehpuri Mosque. This market is also known as the Phool Market.
