Day 1: Thessaloniki – Ouranoupolis
Stop At: Monastery of Vatopedi, Vatopedi Greece
Drive through the plain of Chalcidice to the easternmost of the three peninsulas which jut into the Aegean Sea in northern Greece and arrive to Ouranoupolis. From there a speed boat/ferry boat will take you to visit the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi where you ‘ll be staying for the next 2 days in a luxury single bed room.
