Stop At: Ston, Ston, Peljesac Peninsula, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia

Ston is an ancient walled city from the 14th c, known for the longest fortification walls in Europe. Stone walls are 5 km long, connecting Ston with a nearby village Mali Ston, on the precipice of the Pelješac peninsula.
You can stroll the walls, or just one smaller section, 1,2 km long over Ston.
An additional attraction of Ston is a visit to the ancient saltworks, which still operate in an old-fashioned way, almost like hundreds of years ago.

Stop At: Mali Ston, Mali Ston, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia

Mali Ston is famous for the best Adriatic oysters. Oysters and mussels are growing on the farms in the Mali Ston Bay, a narrow cove, clenched between the Pelješac peninsula and the mainland.
Oyster tasting on a barge at the oyster farm is a rare experience. You’ll taste the oysters a moment after they are pulled out of the sea, just with few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
