Itinerary
Day 1: Mermaid / San Pedrillo
Stop At: Corcovado National Park, Corcovado National Park, Osa Peninsula, Province of Puntarenas
We will leave the main beach of Drake at 6:00 a.m. We will take the boat to the Sirena Station of the Corcovado National Park, this tour takes approximately 01: 15hs. If we are lucky we can see dolphins and whales along the way.
We disembark at the Sirena beach, located in the heart of Corcovado and we will begin the walk along the trails of that station, where we will focus on the search for animals. Mermaid is the best place in the world to see a Tapir / Danta, a very special species in extinction.
Corcovado was listed as the most intense place on the planet and with the greatest biodiversity in the world, and here we will realize why.
At the end of our tour, we will return to the beach to take the boat to the San Pedrillo Station, where we will have lunch and get fully into the adventure.
San Pedrillo with a primary forest of 4000 years, the five species of felines and all the largest predators will be our company during the afternoon and evening.
What makes this place magnificent is that everything is unpredictable, it is a forest that was never cut down and has given home to thousands of animals and plants. We will enter the trails reaching the top of the San Pedrillo waterfall and go down to the base. In this place, alone, connected to the jungle, vibrating with the environment, we will sleep in tents facing the sea, under the moonlight and with an immense forest behind.

Accommodation included: We will sleep in a hostel in the middle of the jungle, on the edge of Corcovado
Day 2: San Pedrillo and return to Drake.
Stop At: Corcovado National Park, Corcovado National Park, Osa Peninsula, Province of Puntarenas
This day we begin to recharge with a good breakfast, and then at 7:30 am the hike back to Drake begins. We will enter a very thick jungle, where you will think that you are lost in the middle of nowhere, going through primary forest almost all the time. As always, we are characterized by non-traditional trails, where you will not see people feeling you are in a real jungle.
This walk is approximately 23 km, until we reach Los Planes station where a taxi will pick us up to take us back to the hotel.
