Itinerary
Day 1: Giant Panda Base and Sanxingdui Relics Museum with Lunch
Stop At: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi), No.1375 Xiongmao Avenue the Outside Northern Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu 610081 China
Meet your private guide in the lobby of your hotel at 0800-0830 and transfer by air-conditioned car to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, located in parkland about 30 minutes driving from the city center. Here you will have plenty of time to walk around and enjoy seeing the giant pandas, young and old, as well as the lesser- known red panda. The younger pandas will fascinate you with their amusing antics as the attendants try to encourage them to climb.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Guanghan Sanxingdui Museum, West of Guanghan, Guanghan 618305 China
After having lunch, you will be driven to Sanxingdui Relics Museum, which tells the story of mysterious ancient Shu Kingdom (the old name of Chengdu ), which is more than 3000 years ago. The cultural relics in Sanxingdui are precious cultural heritage of mankind, which contains rich historical, cultural and scientific value, and bespeak themselves as the most attractive ones among the multitude of the spectacular relics in China. In the late afternoon, you will be driven back to your Chengdu hotel where tour ends.

Day 2: Leshan Gaint Buddha and Kuanzhai Alley with Lunch
Stop At: Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo), No.2435 Lingyun Street, Shizhong District, Leshan 614000 China
Meet your private guide in the lobby of your hotel at 0800-0830 and transfer by air-conditioned car to Mt. Le. Visit the Leshan Gaint Buddha, the largest stone-carving Buddha in sitting posture in the world, which has a history of more than 1200 years. Climb the mountain to visit the Lyingyun Temple which has same age as the Giant Buddha. The statue stands at over 70 meters high from head to toe and from the top you can observe the head of the Buddha, proportionate in size to the height of the statue. You will be able to take some fascinating images from here. There is a staircase down the side of the statue that you can descend to the feet and from here you will get the full sense of the statue’s size as you stand in front of its feet with the river behind you.
If the time available, you can take a boat tour to see the front of Giant Buddha on the river and the boat fee (RMB70) is on you own.

Stop At: Kuanzhai Alley, East of Tongren Road, west of Changshun Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu 610015 China
Drive back to Chengdu and visit the leisure life of local citizen in Kuanzhai Alley. Transfer you back to your Chengdu hotel where your tour ends.
