Day 1: Beijing Arrival

Arrive in Beijing, you will meet the tour guide at the airport and then be transferred to your hotel. After check-in, free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China

Forbidden City was formerly known as the Imperial Palace, which covers an area of over 720,000 m², has more than 9,000 buildings and construction area of 150,000 square meters. Forbidden City was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, is the existing China’s largest and most complete ancient buildings. It was first built in 1406 and finished in 1420. In its 500 years of history, there were 24 emperors living here. Experiencing several times renovation and expansion during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Forbidden City is still remaining its original layout.

The Temple of Heaven was the most important of Beijing’s imperial temples. It was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (from 1420 to 1900) worshiped the god of heaven and prayed for good harvests.

Day 3: Mutianyu Great Wall, Olympic Park, the exterior of Bird Nest and Water Cube

Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower has become a landmark of excellence in architecture and is a favourite sight for tourists in Shanghai. At 468 meters, it is the third tallest TV and radio tower in the World.

The tower is composed of the tower base with three batter posts, and three standing pillars, within which are elevators, holding 11 steel-structures creates the poetic conception as described in the old line “large and small pearls dropping onto a jade plate”.

Yuyuan Garden is the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai. It was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. Although the Garden occupies less than five acres, demonstrates perfectly the sophisticated art of combining several different elements to create a world in miniature – ingeniously mingling pavilions and corridors, small hills and carefully selected and well-placed rocks, lotus ponds, bridges, winding paths, and trees and shrubs.

Nanjing Road, 5.5 km in full length, enjoys the reputation as China No.1 commercial center. It was the earliest commercial street in Shanghai since the city opened to the outside world.

The street stretches across the central city of Shanghai and next to Huangpu River in the east, the cross point of Jing’an Temple and West Yan’an Road. The road is divided into east and west parts by Xizang Road. On both sides of the street, there are more than 360 malls, department stores, specialized shops, restaurants and cultural and recreational facilities, which receive more than 1.5 million customers everyday. In the day – time, the street is crowned with visitors and when the night falls, the colorful neon lights make the street more attractive.

The Bund is located along the Huangpu River which is located in the Huangpu District, the center of Shanghai. It is the scenery line of Shanghai.
